CapillaryFlow Equestrian CapillaryFlow Equestrian
Smart arena foundation with patented CapillaryFlow material and circulating water & air. Did You Know?

Keeps footing evenly moist for optimal performance. Fully controlled through the FlowTrack app for smart irrigation and drainage 😊🐎💧 Capillary Equestrian has revolutionized arena building by introducing their patented system, Capillary Concrete. Capillary Concrete is the world-leader in the golf industry. It can be found on most of the world’s top golf courses as a system for constructing high-end sand bases. It has been tested for many years in the harshest climates and proved to be superior to any other materials. Now introduced to the equestrian industry, this system provides the best of both worlds, drainage like an all-weather ring and supplying moisture from below, eliminating the need for sprinklers and producing a consistent and safe surface. Capillary Concrete, a patented and engineered polymer-based concrete, is the only building material that can move water both up and down to precisely regulate the moisture of any adjacent material, such as sand or soil. Capillary Concrete is one of the only products on the market that is adaptable to various sand selections and can be used with or without fiber or other synthetic footing. This system can produce arenas that match the highest FEI standards under all weather conditions by using advanced drip-line technology along with the patented Meso pores of Capillary Concrete to produce uniformity and consistency in the moisture levels. FEI arena testing standards are based on five major components:

• Impact firmness
• Cushioning
• Responsiveness
• Grip
• Uniformity

Capillary Equestrian is proud to offer a product that can help your ring meet these standards.

Nature already designed an extraordinary water system. 🌊💧

The inspiration behind CapillaryFlow came from the Scottish coast, where the tides naturally move and circulate water through the sand.

We took that principle and engineered it into a completely new system for equestrian arenas.

Our patented wells control and circulate water beneath the arena, while our patented CapillaryFlow Material uses the natural force of capillary action to draw water evenly upward through the sand.

But water is only part of the equation. Air is continuously introduced and circulated beneath the sand, creating a dynamic exchange between water and air. This helps maintain a healthier, oxygen-rich environment and reduces the risk of black layer that can develop when water remains stagnant.

A natural principle, intelligently engineered — creating a healthier, more consistent and more water-efficient arena.

Nature inspired it. We engineered it for the arenas of tomorrow.

Less water. Better roots. Smarter surfaces.
