Here, on this page, let me tell you a bit about me, and where I came from.
My name is Krash Bandicoot. My “real” mom, is Bunny, but her fancy name was “Alone Chocolate Chip”.
My human mom, Ralena, got my horse mom in 2006, as a 2 year old, when she had spent all her money on supposed to be “finished and ready to show” horses, only to have several irreparable injuries, or training hiccups that made it really hard to find a good, safe, show horse. So she decided to “make her own”, and bought my mom, Bunny, who was just starting her riding and performance training as a 2yr old.
Bunny was registered Quarter Horse already when mom got her, and in 2008 the American Paint Horse Association said if you can qualify with enough “white markings” to be a paint horse, the lineage on back to quarter horses didn’t change, and they could get APHA “paint” papers as well, and be double registered.
Bunny was really natural at the western events, like western pleasure, then mom decided to go do the all around, and showed her in the English (huntseat) and the patterns, like horsemanship and showmanship. Winning In both associations locally, mom decided to try to make it all the way to the top.
While she placed in the top ten in every class shown (there were 103 horses in the western pleasure that year, and had 9 splits) placing reserve world champion, it was too much for her and the trainer they were using was unfortunately giving her a lot of pain medicine without Ralena knowing, and did some bad damage to my mom…to where she tore her meniscus because the pain medicine made her use everything and not stay off of it to heal…
