🐶FOSTER TO ADOPT🐶

Liberty is looking for forever home!! Liberty was left behind at a property in rural Kentucky, very pregnant and very scared. NKL brought her into our program so she could have safe place to give birth.

Liberty has now raised her pups and wants a life all to her own. Liberty is a very goofy, floppy eared Treeing Walker Coonhound. She loves being wherever you are and lots of scratches! Liberty does pretty well at being house broken but does have some accidents. Hopefully being the center of attention will help that.

Liberty was kept in a kennel on the property and because of the long days spent in it, she chewed on the bars. She is missing her front teeth because of it. But that doesnt stop her from eating whatever you hand her! And she would likely not be happy in a crate.

We think that Liberty is around a 2 years old. She is up to date on all her vaccines but will be spayed in October when her milk dries up completely.

These 4 adorable puppies are ready for their new homes🏠! We would like to place them in a foster home with the intention to adopt!

They have had their first round of vaccines💉 and dewormer🪱. By the end of their journey, they will be spayed/neutered, all vaccines and microchipped!

Meryl, Beryl, Ham and Coal are 7 week old Treeing Walker Coonhound mixes. Mom looks to be full blood but we aren't sure who dad might be.

5 week old Merle, Beryl, Coal and Ham, affectionate and giving so many kisses. They will soon be up for foster/foster to adopt! These are Treeing Walker Coonhound mixes, full of floppy ears! Go ahead and get your apps in for these babies! Mom will be up for foster to adopt soon too!

While Mouse stays on our minds and hearts waiting to improve, here are her brother, Merle, and sister, Beryl.

Merle is tan and black, and Beryl looks more like her mom with lots of white. They are deep in puppy land dreams after enjoying their 1st meal of gruel.

Another update on Mouse:

Unfortunately Mouse's body couldn't keep up with her fighter mentality. We decided it was best for her that we helped her cross the rainbow bridge. Mouse was certainly a fighter and we couldn't give her that fighting chance without your donations, good vibes and shares. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

While Mouse is no longer with us, her sister, brothers and mom are , and will be looking for their forever home soon.

Update on little Mouse:

Mouse has been back at her foster home since her emergency visit. We want to thank everyone for their donations!

Mouse is still feeling pretty down. She will go for a follow-up appointment tomorrow at our regular vet. As you might know, puppies at this age are very fragile and she's not showing much progress. Any positive vibes you could send her way, we would greatly appreciate it! She's definitely a fighter!

She's in the ER tonight with fluid and blood in her abdomen." The vet recommends immediate X-rays to guide treatment, estimate is $1,000. Help us give her a real fighting chance with timely care.
