The hardest part about having a pet is knowing we’ll outlive them. We were honored to create this portrait of Griffin for (Jenny) to use at his Sweet 16 / Celebration of Life party.

Griffin’s has had an amazing life with Jenny, but sadly he’s been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. It’s unclear how much time he has left, so Jenny decided to throw him a big birthday bash—complete with a sugar free cake made just for dogs. It was truly heartwarming to see so many people show up to celebrate him.

Some people might think it’s a little crazy to go all out like this for a dog. But, here at Paco Floyd, we absolutely love that kind of crazy.

So this Mother’s Day, we’re sending love to Jenny and all the other dog moms out there. Honestly, the world could probably use a little more of this kind of crazy. Keep it up, everyone!
