✨ Our first Western Classics, and what a weekend it was! ✨
I honestly couldn’t be happier or more proud of my girl, Aia. She gave me absolutely everything this weekend and made our first Western Classics one I’ll never forget.

Aia showed her heart all weekend long giving us results I could only dream of:
🏆 Reserve Grand Champion at Specialty
🏆 Best Brace Team with her daughter, Narya
🏆 Reserve Grand Champion — Friday
🏆 Best of Breed and Group 4 — Saturday
🏆 Reserve Grand Champion — Sunday
🏆 Grand Champion — Sunday

And she didn’t stop in the conformation ring!

🎖️ Earned her United Weightpull title UWP
🎖️ Earned her Beginner Agility title BA
🎖️ Earned her United Companion Dog UCD title
🎖️ Earned her RUSH title
🎖️ Competed in Precision Coursing and earned her RACEN title
💎 Earned her Emerald Grand Championship
💎 Picked up a partial leg toward Ruby
💎And got quite a few first places in classes we competed
⭐ She also earned Total Dog every day — three awards for the weekend!

And I believe she now has all six of the required titles toward her SUPER DOG title!

What makes me happiest is seeing Aia enjoy everything we do together. From the conformation ring to agility, obedience, and coursing, she continues to surprise me with how willing and versatile she is. Thank you Alaskan Klee Kai Of ICE for matching us.
It was also wonderful spending time with old friends and meeting new ones along the way. Those moments are such a special part of weekends like this.
A huge thank you to the entire Western Classics organization, the judges, stewards, volunteers, and everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to make this event such a success. Your time and dedication are truly appreciated.
And a very special thank you to Cheryl Simpson for putting together such a wonderful specialty and making it such a special experience for all of us. And Alexandra Kimbrough for making the stained class ribbon awards.
We came to our first Western Classics hoping to have a great weekend, and we went home with titles, ribbons, wonderful memories, new friendships, time with old friends, and a heart full of pride for my girl.

Aia appreciation post 💙
From tiny bear with airplane ears… to professional side-eye queen, part-time lifeguard, full-time chaos coordinator. She keeps me laughing every single day, is convinced the world revolves around her (she’s not entirely wrong), and somehow makes every adventure better. Wouldn’t trade this little menace for anything. 🐺✨

We haven’t officially introduced our new addition to Angels Klee Kai.
Auri came to us last year from Del Mar Klee Kai and we are very thankful to April for trusting us with such a great girl.
She debuted in UKC puppy ring this year and got Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show puppy awards. After graduating to a big girl club she showed great her first weekend and got a competition win and some points towards her Championship.
We showed at AKC Conejo Kennel Club today and she earned her first point towards Certificate of Merit. And picked up a few AKC virtual titles like Fit Dog Bronze and Trick Dog Novice.
She is very much still in her string bean puppy stage and thankful to judges for seeing her.

Deep in the heart of the enchanted forest… they’ve arrived. 🌲✨
On March, 1 Aia has blessed us with two beautiful puppies—one boy and one girl—each already showing their own little spark of personality. Now just over four weeks old, they are beginning to explore the world around them, growing more curious and playful each day.
Lovingly raised with Puppy Culture and ENS, they are being given the very best start through intentional socialization, enrichment, and daily hands-on care.
A heartfelt thanks to Nornir Kennels - Alaskan Klee Kai for sharing Viggo with us and for meeting us on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day in the rain 🌧️.
We look forward to sharing more as they continue to grow and reveal their personalities. 🌿✨

We haven’t posted much about Narya. Our little spaz got her UKC Championship and Grandchampionship pretty quick last year. Thank you to all the judges for recognizing her among great competition. And she also got her CHIC and a few AKC titles. She still has a lot maturing to do but very happy with how she is turning out. Thank you Thurisia - Alaskan Klee Kai for their handsome boy Ender.

It’s been almost a year since we last shared any show updates, but this one felt worth posting.

We could not be more proud of Aia. She earned UKC 2025 Top 10 UKC placement at #2 and had some really lovely Group placements along the way. Even being pregnant, and then naked after whelping, she showed great. More than the results, it’s who she is and the journey behind her that means the most to us.
Thank you to the clubs that held the shows and to the incredible volunteers who make these events possible—your dedication keeps the sport thriving and welcoming for everyone.
Big thank you to all the judges for placements.
So grateful to her breeder, Michelle Short of for trusting us with such a special dog and for all the support throughout this journey.
