V.d. Westmark Deutsch-Drahthaar A page for owners of Westmark Deutsch Drahthaars. I strive to breed dogs that are independent and energetic, eager to work with a very strong nose.

Our mother-line is a descendant from the blood line of the famous breeder Max Steinberger of Vom Donaueck Kennels, who's dogs won the Hegewald an amazing five times. Although the Drahthaar is an extremely versatile dog that excels at hunting all types of game, I enjoy taking my dogs out for upland bird hunting most. My personal favorites are Chukar, California Quail and some water fowl.

The mother of these Puppies Unka v.d.Westmark produced wonderful puppies for our A-II litter and we have been very happy with the results.

We breed Unka to Dylan IV vom Spanger-Forst who comes from one of the most respected Kennels in Germany. Dylan IV vom Spanger-Forst brother Drago won the Hegewald in 2024.
