Thank you to everyone who’s supported me & this little biz over the years. This has always been about having each other’s backs 💕 because let’s be honest… the police won’t take care of us, but we will. No me cuida la policía, me cuidan mis amigas!! 💚💜

💥 Happy Pride Month to all the loud, soft, femme, masc, glittery, angry, healing qu**rs out there. Safety isn’t a luxury, it’s a right. And q***r folks have always been on the frontlines of fighting for it.

Meow Defense was built on the idea that we deserve to feel powerful walking down the street. That includes our q***r fam who face daily BS just for existing.

This month (and always), I’m sending love to every trans person holding it down, every q***r kid finding their voice, and every LGBTQ+ person who’s had to shrink themselves to survive. You don’t owe the world palatability. You deserve protection, joy, and space.

Due to the devastating Los Angeles fires, we’ve had to evacuate for our safety. As a result, our shop is currently closed, and we will not be shipping any orders until at least Monday.

Awareness + Action = Social Change! 💜

Several years ago, an acquaintance messaged me on Facebook, explaining that I was friends with her abuser. She shared her story and warned me in case something was happening between us, encouraging me to remove him immediately. Though I didn’t know her well, I removed her abuser right away and let her know I wasn’t aware of his behavior and haven’t spoken to him at all. I thanked her for her bravery in speaking out. She was stunned that I believed her.

This experience was a turning point for me, making me realize not everyone supports survivors as I (and the rest of our community) do. I’m here to tell survivors that not only do I believe you, but I will also act on it. Removing a “friend” from social media is the least I can do. Warn me and any others. Abuse has no place in my circle or any circle near me.
