Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats socializes feral kittens, taking hissy little babies and turning them into purring little lap cats. We believe in force love and provide a cage free environment and one-on-one attention to each feral kitten. Through physical exercises and delicious food bribes, Charm School volunteer teachers earn the trust and love of the kittens, and bring them to the

understanding that there is a wonderful human home waiting to give them the love and security they deserve. Upon graduation, these kittens continue to blossom in their new homes growing into the most wonderful house cats a family could desire.

Every new intake, feeding shift, adoption event, medical treatment, transport, social post, laundry load, and cleaned kennel happens because volunteers show up. Our team keeps Kitty Bungalow running day in and day out — and summer is the perfect time to jump in and help make a real impact. ☀️

Whether you want to work alongside our med team, help at pop-up events, care for cats, or support behind the scenes, there’s a place for you here. And yes — volunteers can start as young as 12 with a parent or guardian! 🙌

Come spend your summer doing something meaningful (and hanging out with a lot of cats).

🚨Medical Monday! 🩺
Sometimes cats come through our TNR program needing far more than what we expect. Officer Hops came to us as a TNR cat on 5/7 for what was supposed to be a routine spay surgery.

Instead, the clinic discovered that her back leg was horribly mangled — a massive wound and a leg so badly broken they could feel it externally.

She was rushed to our partner hospital, CARES, where x-rays confirmed the extent of the damage. Unfortunately, her leg could not be fixed, so last Tuesday, Officer Hops underwent a leg amputation.

And somehow, despite all of it… she has become so sweet.

The difference in her already is incredible. You can see the relief in her eyes now that she’s no longer carrying around a leg that was causing her constant pain.

Cats like Officer Hops remind us how resilient they are. How much suffering they survive silently. And how quickly they begin to heal once someone finally helps them. 🖤
