Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats socializes feral kittens, taking hissy little babies and turning them into purring little lap cats. We believe in force love and provide a cage free environment and one-on-one attention to each feral kitten. Through physical exercises and delicious food bribes, Charm School volunteer teachers earn the trust and love of the kittens, and bring them to the

understanding that there is a wonderful human home waiting to give them the love and security they deserve. Upon graduation, these kittens continue to blossom in their new homes growing into the most wonderful house cats a family could desire.

We’re sending summer out with a little extra fun — and some seriously good prizes! We’ve rounded up an amazing collection of prizes from local businesses all across SoCal, from South LA to the Valley and beyond.

From Hiss to Home 🩶

Crockett came to us from a city shelter as a working cat, but somewhere along the way, he made it very clear that he had other plans.

The shelter environment can be incredibly stressful for cats of all kinds, and Crockett was no exception. He had some old fractures that needed time to heal, so he spent quite a while with us on kennel rest. And despite being stuck in recovery mode, he was nothing but silly, goofy, and completely himself.

Oh, and did we mention he is HUGE?

Fast forward to today, and Crockett has traded a kennel for the couch. His new name is Monty, and honestly, does that mug *not* look like a Monty? We think it fits him perfectly.

Monty is proof that sometimes, you just have to give a cat a chance. The cat who seems stressed in a shelter may blossom in a home. The cat who doesn’t fit neatly into a category may surprise you. And the working cat you thought wanted a barn might just decide he’s actually a professional couch potato.

Here’s to second chances, new names, soft couches, and letting cats show us who they really are. We’re so happy for you, Monty.

Meet Monk 💖 a Maine C**n who is every bit as sweet as he is handsome.

Months before coming to Kitty Bungalow, Monk was sadly attacked by a dog while in a home. He sustained severe injuries, and ultimately had to have his leg and tail amputated. As a result, he has some lasting challenges, including muscle atrophy and incontinence. But despite everything Monk has been through, his spirit is completely undiminished. He is truly one of the happiest, most loving guys you could ever meet. He doesn’t seem to know that life was supposed to be hard — he just keeps being Monk.
Monk has already had his initial appointment at California Animal Rehabilitation, and his physical therapist has very high hopes for his road ahead. With continued physical therapy, support, and plenty of encouragement, we’re excited to see just how far this resilient boy can go.
Our goal is to set Monk up for success and ultimately find him a forever home that understands his needs, embraces his quirks (yes, including being a diaper-boy) and will continue helping him rise above everything he’s been through.

If Monk has stolen a little piece of your heart, consider making a donation toward his physical therapy and ongoing care. Every contribution helps us give this incredible boy the support he deserves.
