Your little ones’ health and wellness 🐶

It is your responsibility to keep your dog cheerful and healthy. And this is not difficult! Follow these basic rules:

🐺 Check your dog every day. Use your eyes and ears to spot any unusual behavior. Excessive scratching, limping, and whining sounds are all recognizable.
🐺 Consider her coat and general behavior - ask yourself if she looks happy, happy to see you, or doesn't care. Does he/she wag her tail? Can he/she be worried? All of these things need to be considered.
🐺 If you are not going to breed it, then sterilize it. He/she will feel better.
🐺 Make sure all vaccinations are up to date.
🐺 Visit your veterinarian for annual checkups.

Remember, your pet's health is in your hands. Consider purchasing digital pet passport with telehealth service on your phone such as .pet 🤞🏻 During covid it is always easier to use online vet consultations for pets, as he/she gets sick. This is probably the best thing you can do for your dog.

👀 Learn to calm your dog down in case of aggression ☺️

Think of every walk as a learning opportunity. Stop periodically, teach your pet new commands, train already known ones, and do not forget about the rewarding treat.

If you do everything right while walking, it will bring pleasure to both you and your pet. After all, walking is one of the most joyful moments of life for a pet.

Let’s continue talking about principals of dog walking.

💪🏻 Full walks help keep the dog in shape, reduce the risk of obesity, and contribute to the formation of a balanced nervous system. They are especially important for dogs kept indoors.

🐶 In urban conditions, most owners walk the animals 2-3 times a day, but you should walk with the puppy more often.

📝 Firstly, physiologically, he is not yet able to endure for a long time, and, secondly, the habit of relieving himself on the street should be formed from a very early age.

Most likely, at first the puppy will relieve himself at home, but you should not scold him - he will learn everything, he just needs time and your patience.

Sometimes our dogs upset us by eating houseplants and garden plants, but there are ways to stop them from doing that 🥺🌺

Let's go through an interesting one:

👂🏻 Try clicker training.

You can show your dog that he is doing what you want him to do with a clicker that you can buy at a pet supply store.

🪄 Click the clicker when the dog is acting the way you want it to and immediately reward him with the treat he likes best (such as a piece of cheese, meat, or a favorite cookie). Praise your dog well.

To use the clicker to stop the dog from eating plants on the street, during the walk, when the pet gets closer to a plant with the intention of chewing it, call it back to you, and when it fulfills the command, give it a treat by clicking the clicker.

This way, you are encouraging your dog to respond to the command rather than eating the plants 🤞🏻🌟

To make your truancy even more enjoyable, our team has prepared 15 rules for walking with your dog.

First post.

🏬 The walk begins already in the apartment. If the dog is very excited by the magic word "Take a walk!", Then you need to calm him down, ask him to sit in front of the front door. Quietly leave the apartment and again force the dog to sit down while you close the door.

🤪 Don't let your four-legged friend jerk you. Further, if you go down the stairs, then the same rule applies. Nobody pulls anyone anywhere. The dog can go ahead of you, but taking into account your speed, and not "Come on quickly, run, catch up!"

👀 Just before leaving, directly to the street (exit from the entrance), the dog should also be under your control. The dog should not run out into the yard in front of you. The owner leaves the entrance first, followed by his dog and never vice versa.

We've disappeared a bit, that's true.
But there's a good reason for this.

In recent months, we've partially shifted our top priority to KeepPet in build and polish a tool that is now more than needed due to the unfortunate pandemic time we're going through.
