Exciting day for little Miss Mia! She gets her cast off today! And it's exciting for me too because I'm the one picking her up from the vet so I get to be the first one to see her walk without her cast! Her mom said she still needs to take it easy. Hahaha good luck with that. Nutty little Tasmanian devil.

So we've all been hearing for a long time that doggy jerky treats from China are unsafe. But I thought it was ONLY treats coming from China. Well, all my babies went to see Dr. Stewart yesterday for a check up, and it turns out Lexie has liver damage. Dr. Stewart told me to stop giving her ANY AND ALL jerky treats, EVEN IF the package says made in the USA because some of the ingredients could still come from China and not be indicated on the package. Well s**t, that's scary.

I'm very happy with the addition of Ziggy to my daily schedule. Not only is she cute and sweet and funny, she's young and long-legged with lots of energy, so she can GO, and it's and hour-long, so it's a great workout for me.
