🚨 DID YOU KNOW…women are WAY more likely to go undiagnosed with ADHD than men because they may exhibit the “Inattentive” form of ADHD? 😬
Not to mention, societally, women are expected to behave more “prim & proper” whereas.. “boys will be boys!” 🤷🏻♀️ So, we end up flying under the radar.
But, in vet med, having ADHD (whether female OR male) means invisible STRUGGLES; overwhelm, anxiety, burnout, masking, and chronic self-doubt - disguised as perfectionism, or manifesting as Imposter Syndrome. 🫠
