I’m writing this with happy tears in my eyes, and I really hope this reaches anyone else who has a dog struggling with severe anxiety or frustration.

When I brought my new Samoyed home, my heart broke for him. He was so overwhelmed and frustrated. He wouldn't engage, he paced constantly, and he ignored every single plushie, ball, and bone I bought him. It was like he didn't know how to be a dog. I spent weeks feeling completely helpless watching him just sit there looking sad and stressed out.

One night, I was scrolling and saw someone mention the OctoTug from EverSniff. They mentioned it had crinkly paper in the legs and a squeaker in the head. I figured the different sounds and textures might stimulate his brain without intimidating him, so I ordered one as a last resort.
