Cali Cowie update! 😍🐮

It's been a little over a week since Cali left the West LA shelter after nine long months of waiting and went into his foster home.

He has seen the talented at , and his cysts have been removed so he can live a full life without constantly filling with fluid. The one on his tail was especially problematic, as he is a very happy guy! Thank you, Dr. P and team for such great care. He is healing well and has weekly bandage changes for about a month.

Honey is 3-5 years old and hasn't experienced everything life has to offer yet! After spending her early years in a yard, she is finally learning what it means to be loved and cherished.

We are fundraising for Honey’s ongoing needs and her time with , and we would greatly appreciate it if you have a few dollars to spare. She recently had her vaccines updated, is on a round of medication for her skin, as well as a cytopoint injection.

Meet Juniper 🤍 the best friend to all dogs! Seriously, she hasn’t met a dog that she did not love.

She is incredibly social with other dogs, and she is also learning that the world can be a safe place when she is given time, patience, and kind guidance. This girls start to life was rough, living in an outdoor junkyard with 30 other puppies. She has been settling beautifully into home life, spending her days lounging with dog friends, running and playing fetch with foster dad, riding in the car, exploring new spaces, and slowly building confidence.

June is ready for the next chapter. Now she just needs someone to choose her.

Honey had such a fun time on her little vacation. She absolutely loves being around other social dogs and cats too! 🥰

This girl has been through many health struggles since leaving the shelter in September. She conquered pneumonia, parasites, infection, and she’s currently on a 3-week course of antifungal medication to see if we can finally get her skin fully cleared up! ❤️‍🩹

Aspen has been living with our trainer Mo, , and we aren't sure if she will ever leave 🥹🤞🏼🥰.

She loves going out on daily hikes with the whole crew and has gained so much confidence with Mo’s guidance. Go, baby Aspen!

For those who don't know Aspen, she came from an outdoor junkyard hoarding situation in the hot desert, where more than 30 puppies were living among many neglected dogs. Aspen and her sister Juniper are two of the lucky little ladies who made it to rescue thanks to a group of rescuers coming together to save all of the babies.

Aspen needs her vaccines updated, so please consider making a donation to help us cover her care costs with the wonderful ✨.

COURT UPDATE: DIANNE BEDFORD / WOOFY ACRES 🚨

Dianne Bedford was back in court on May 13 in her active felony animal cruelty case.

Prosecutors asked the court to take action on her release status after new concerns were raised.

The judge did not take her into custody that day.

Instead, the issue was continued to June 2 because the court needs a stronger evidence record before taking action.

A witness reports seeing Bedford on a Nevada property around animals. A witness also reports concern that animals may have been moved, including Ferguson, pictured here.

If you have evidence of Dianne Bedford with animals, transporting animals, visiting the Nevada property, arranging animal care, crossing state lines, or working through associates, please come forward.

Evidence can include photos, videos, texts, emails, shelter records, rescue transfer records, transport records, vet records, boarding records, screenshots with dates, or witness statements.

Do not delete messages.
Do not crop out names or dates.
Do not assume someone else already reported it.

The next hearing is June 2.

The record needs to be stronger.

We each took our responsibilities after April Fools' Day promotions very seriously 🤪

As you can see, we take supply deliveries very seriously, too. Every Amazon and Chewy box that arrives helps keep the rescue dogs fed, enriched, comfortable, and properly spoiled while they wait for foster and forever homes.

Right now, our wishlists help cover items like:
