This weekend we finished all the doors and the end of run covers for the outdoor pens!!! This is so exciting. Now we have to get the roof/covering, the latches on the doors, auto door openers for their nighttime, ramps and auto water/feeders done!!!! One step closer but that was such a huge project!!!!

We have been busy building coups and hatching Polish and Silkie Babies!!! They are sooooo cute. We also had 2 hens gives us 6 little surprises while we were gone to Florida. Posting lots of pics and videos today!!! Cheer season is over so we are back in full swing over here!!!

At first they just huddled in the corner but now they are moving around and trying out their wings and enjoying the extra space. Busy weekend hatching eggs for my helper Bailee!! Unfortunately one of our Cemani chics didn’t survive hatching. One did (Stormy) and one is still waiting to hatch today (Praying). Our bantam Cochins both hatched (Twins) and we moved 6 Ayam Cemani eggs into lockdown to hatch over the next 4 days!! Fingers crossed!!!

Meet Stormy!!! She has already defied the odds!! This fertilized egg was lost in the USPS for 10 days during the snow storm in Texas and they told us to throw the eggs away but we thought better to try and fail than not try at all!!! And look what we got!!!!! Our beautiful new Ayam Cemani!!! Stormy we love you already!!!
