Summer nights like these 🌇🌴

Today was HOTTT in LA 🥵 make sure to walk your dogs once the pavement has cooled down, or get some doggy shoes 🩰

And don't forget a snazy harness set to complete the look 😂
Thanks Rabbitgoo for our bright fun summer set ☀️💙

Brandy is actually afraid of harnesses going over her head, so I love that this one she just steps into! (Plus its trachea friendly 😌)

Rabbitgoo was nice to let us create a coupon if you want to match!

"I feel like youre just here for my 3D printed dog toys"😂

Brandy has been enjoying all my 3D printed puzzles this week. she hasnt been able to excersize as much with her surgery, so the mental stimulation is great! .

and luckily with my Bambu Lab P2S Ive been able to print new things FAST. The exclusive models are available on MakerWorld and literally take 1 push of a button to print 😍

when I saw there was an option to turn a photo into a custom 3D print portrait, I knew I needed to try it with a pic of Chloe 🩷

some of you have asked about my printer so if you want to check it out, 🔗 is in my bio!

The last piece of mail Chloe received before passing was this tiny figurine of her.

Which now makes it even more special 🤍

Thank you SnapFig for giving me a Chloe I can hold onto forever 🫶

Its been a little over a week since Chloe has been gone 🤍

While ofcourse I miss her physical presence, I am reminded to enjoy life in the little moments.

You never realize how everyday mundane things may be missed in the future.

Something as simple as filling up a water bowl or vaaccuming are taken for granted and even pushed off as a chore.

However, someday you'll miss filling up that water bowl.

You'll missing pulling out the vaaccum and hearing the barks as you turn it on to get all the hair balls from under the couch.

You'll miss cutting up the pills and putting the in they weekly pill holder.

So as I take a look around my home, I'm reminded how much Chloe impacted my daily activities.
And I take time to appreciate the small things more with Brandy.

Hug your dog today 🩷

Too many videos to fit into a single video.
But these few capture Chloe for who she was.

Always giving it her all, always making me laugh, and ofcourse... always barking 🤍

Missing you extra, xx

If love could've kept you alive, you would have lived forever.

Chloe was the type of dog that if you are lucky enough to encounter her once in your life, you will be changed for the better.

She started as a wish in my head when I was only 7. Im not even sure how I knew what a sheltie was, but I begged for 7 years for a sable sheltie named Chloe. She was the only this on every Christmas list, Birthday wish, tooth fairy note, shooting star.
I would draw pictures of her in my desk in elementary school and get caught by the teacher.
I would make Nintendogs that looked like her to pretend she was real.
I would print journals with images of her and what her life would look like. Pink leashes, fluffy beds, little jackets. I had a sparkly collar picked out for you years before you even existed.
I learned cursive just to make my letters to Santa extra impressive incase it would persuade him.
I collected sheltie stuffies, figures, coasters, pens, knick knacks, and everything in between.

She taught me patience long before she was born. She taught me that the best things are worth waiting for because finally on New Years Eve of 2014, the dream came true.
A 8 week old sable sheltie puppy of my very own. Chloe.

I thank God everyday that He let me be your owner. What an honor.

I used to want you to grow up so we could compete in things faster. I was so excited to see what youd become as you got older, but now I just wish I could go back.
You were always so patient with me. And 10 steps ahead. You would already have it figured out and give me the time to catch up.

I remember the first morning after I got you, you woke up really early. So I snuck downstairs as the sun was rising and I took you in the backyard and just looked and admired you. So small and perfect.
Then I took you inside and gave you a warm bowl of milk and we just sat in the silence of the morning.
I wish we were back in that moment.

She was my shadow. Anywhere I went she was close behind. Even if it was just from the living room to the kitchen. Your brown eyes were always watching where I was. If a door was closed, you would nudge it open to be with me.

We were girls together. We grew up together. From Highschool drama, meeting new friends, and the ups and downs of being a teenager. We would aways be together. I think I mightve even been known as "dog girl" to some, but what an honor to be called that because of you.
Id come home from school everyday to spend hours with you. In the backyard playing agility in the summer, or in the guest room teaching you tricks in the winter.
From dog shows to camping trips, hiking and just everyday life. We were experiencing it together.
You were there for my highschool graduation and inspired me to follow my passion in design and entrepreneuship to college. Those 4 years not being with each other every day were hard, but even in college everyone knew you.
For the paast 11 years, whoever knew me, knew you. In fact, more people probably knew you than they knew me.

Figuring out LA after college was new, but you did it with me. The best part about moving into my own place after college was getting to bring you with me. Even if that meant a 30 hour drive across the country with you standing on my lap the entire time since you hate cars.
But I would do it all again to be with you here in the city of angels.

And thats when the internet found you and loved you alongside me.
You were always ready and willing to put up with whatever crazy idea I had next. Infact, whenever the Tiktok filming timer started, you would get up from anywhere and stand in front of the camera ready for your spotlight.

You brought opportunities and took me places I never imagined I would go. I met so many wonderful new people whom I would never have met if it wasnt for you.

And just last year, you were the ring bearer in my wedding. A day Ill never forget and be forever grateful that you were there to share it with.

Life. We did it all together.
You taught me confidence and how to loose gracefully or win humbly. You taught me to stop and enjoy sitting in the sun. Smell the air. Appreciate things slower.
You inspired me to try new things and get out of my comfort zone. You were my muse and inspired me to become an entrepreneur and make art.
I started an Etsy shop and learned how to sew because of you.
I learned how to use tools and build things while making agility equipment in my backyard for you.
Many of my college projects had something to do with you.
I designed a furniture line named after you.

You loved sleeping on hard floors over fluffy beds.
You loved comically large toys.
Bunnies specifically.
You loved begging for table scraps beacaue you know id always give you some. Except pretzels, which you hated for some reason.
You loved squirrels. Alot.
You memorized the ideal squirrel sighting path in our backyard and would run it like a set track.
You loved learning new things. Whoever said you cant teach an old dog new tricks is a liar.
And you loved to talk.
But you didnt just bark for nothing. You always wanted to tell me something.
And I always knew what it was.
I used to say we were like the same being in different forms. We both understood each other so well. Even as different species, its like we spoke the same language. We could just look at eachother and understand.

I knew every inch of you. You had a little white part on the left side of you nose, perfect spot for kissing. The brown and white pattern on your neck made a ying and yang symbol. You had a brown spot on your tummy, and the underside of your chin looked like an hour glass. You had 1 white whisker.. until you got older and they all turned white.
Your ears were crooked. Because I didnt know what I was doing when I was learning to groom you.
You didn't mind.

I loved you for your entire life, and Ill spend the rest of mine missing you.

These last few days have been hard. You were always so full of life.
3 years ago you were diagnosed with kidney diseas and then a few days ago we found tumors. I wish bad things didn'tvhappen to good creatures. You didn't deserve any of it but you still went through it with grace and kindness and gentleness.

And as you leave your earthly form, I know the things you have left behind far outweigh the sadness in my heart.
You have taught baby Brandy so much and I know she will make you proud as she grows. Sheltie Chloe is a legacy now, for the best dog that has ever been.

As much as she has inspired me, I hope she has done the same to you.

You were beloved by many.
But mainly by me.
I love you Chloe, you'll always be in my heart. Until I see you again 🩷
