Imagine feeling this afraid, trembling for nearly 2 weeks waiting for your family to bring you home 💔 This is a dog whose instincts are spot on, because no dog is safe at Devore Shelter. We wish we could bust every one of those angels out of there, but for Risotto his little life will never be filled with fear again. Ever. Thanks to an incredible foster family and a selfless transporter, Risotto is going to get to decompress and feel safe and loved. This boy has a vet appointment scheduled and we would appreciate a helping hand with getting him the care he deserves. To donate to Risotto, please visit our website located via the link in our bio. Lola was just discharged from CARES hospital and has had her fractured leg repaired by their amazing team 💕 her fracture was very high up on her leg so it was reportedly a complicated fix but she’s officially on the mend and will get to be a bouncing playful puppy again really soon! We’re very thankful to everyone and their support for this sweet, deserving, brave little fighter. We love you Lola!

This rescue has been a whirlwind! Lola had a family who reclaimed her with a broken leg and we were so worried if she was going to get the care she needed. She didn’t. She came back to the shelter in the same condition and we came for her right away. Lola is only 6 months old. She did what a pure bred Jack Russel does and she tried to hop the fence. Except her back leg got caught at the top of the fence and she was left hanging by the leg. We’re so glad she ended up coming with us so she can get the love and care she deserves. To help us keep going and make a donation towards little Lola’s care, please consider making a donation on our website located via the link in our bio. Please help us help Lola, just a 6 month old baby Jack Russel with a fractured leg waiting at the shelter to be rescued. We don’t want this angel waiting a second longer to get help, but she needs surgery on that leg which is always costly. Our plea for help went unanswered yesterday, knowing the next dog who needs us can’t be helped without your support. Our next mission is to help little Lola but we need your help. Please pledge to help us support her rescue and surgery! She will also need a loving SoCal foster home! We will update the caption with any updates. To apply to foster please visit the link in our bio to fill out a foster application. Sunny and Teddy are the only puppies left of their litter of 6! They’re both dog friendly, cat friendly and kid friendly! They’re both the sweetest puppies and are not expected to be large, max 25 pounds. These two pups likely have different dads from the siblings who got adopted (common in street dogs!) momma was likely a chiweenie but Sunny looks like she has a smidge of pitty in her and Sunny looks like he has a splash of schnauzer! Both babies are SO sweet and SO smart and beyond ready for a family who sees them and loves them! If you can’t adopt, please share to find their families! To adopt, please fill out our adoption application via the link in our bio! 📍Orange County

We found Snow on Christmas Eve living on the streets severely injured. Since his rescue he’s been nothing short of a pure angel but nobody has given him a chance to foster or adopt. We’ve had people take one look at him and refuse because he looked “too scary”. Our hearts break for him because he is one of the most pure and gentle souls we’ve ever known. In addition to being dog, cat and kid friendly, he’s also potty trained, knows all of his basic commands, is crate trained and is so eager to please. He’s 90 pounds, has striking blue eyes and little dalmation dots on his body, he’s the most handsome big lug. Snow is located in Murrieta, CA and he’s looking for his very own foster or adopter ASAP! 🩵 If you can’t foster or adopt, please share him, we’ve tried so hard to find his people with no luck. To apply, please head to the link in our bio to fill out a foster or adoption application!

This video is a glimpse of just some of the severe medical cases we’ve taken on this year in 2026. We actively seek out the dogs who need help the most, often requiring extensive medical and around the clock care. We take chances on dogs that aren’t expected to make it and have seen real miracles happen before our eyes. But most importantly, we don’t cut corners with our dogs- ever. Every dog receives prompt medical care, every foster family receives supplies and support and myself and my team know every single dog in our care by name. Ethical rescue is far from easy but it’s something we pride ourselves on. But we are at a loss. Like so many other rescues, the support is just not there right now. Donations from the community aren’t coming in like they used to, and right now there are multiple critically injured dogs at Riverside, OC Animal Care and Palmdale that we cannot help. Please help us get them to safety. To donate, please visit our website linked in our bio. Boise is finally going to get the care the deserves to heal and be a puppy again. This rescue would not have been possible without the help of taking them into their hospital for treatment. This little one has a long road of recovery ahead of him and we’re going to help him through every tough moment. Sadly, this could be the last rescue we take in unless things turn around. 💔 Like so many other rescues, we are struggling to keep going. Our rescue focuses on major medical dogs and there are so many vet bills behind the scenes for their ongoing care. Whether they’ve been hit by a car or partially eaten by a coyote we’re there for these kids day and night and we’re absolutely exhausted. But it’s not looking like we’ll be able to save the next one that comes along 💔 You can help change this. No amount is too small to make a difference. If you’re able, please consider making a tax exempt donation via our website linked in our bio. You can also donate via PayPal & Zelle with email [email protected] or via Venmo with our username LetsRescueDogs (please beware of scammers with similar usernames)
