Where does the money come from? Google made $225 billion last year. We wondered, what if a search engine used its ad revenue to help save dogs?

So we built it - DogDog

Piggy snorts. Whole body wiggles. Instant friendship with anyone and everyone. A loving snuggle bug. Bunni was born with the personality you’d expect from a Frenchie puppy, meant to be a shadow, sidekick, and companion for years to come.

Heartbreakingly, her little body was not.

Bunni was surrendered to All 4 Paws Rescue by her owner who did everything he could for her, but he could not afford the expensive diagnostics and, likely surgery, she would need.

Unwilling to see her suffer, he made the best choice for Bunni to get the care she needed.

Initial assessments diagnosed Bunni with ectopic ureters, a congenital condition in which the tube carrying urine from the kidneys to the bladder connects to the wrong area. This condition causes urine leakage and frequent urinary tract infections.

However, they have had successful outcomes in the past with corrective surgery for dogs with this condition, so they were hopeful for little Bunni to live the long, comfortable life she deserved.

Bunni saw a specialist for more testing, and it was even possible the surgery would be performed that same day.

They were blindsided when the imaging revealed devastating additional defects.

She had a severe subectopic left ureter and urethral sphincter deficit that was unable to be corrected surgically, an abnormally small bladder, and she had already experienced chronic bladder and urinary tract infections that had caused lasting damage.

Her surgeon had never seen a case like Bunni’s.

All 4 Paws would have provided anything Bunni needed if surgery had been a possibility. But given this information, they made the kindest choice they could and decided to end her pain.

She spent her final days in the arms of her loving foster mama, being spoiled with all of her favorite treats and doing the things that made her little tail wiggle with happiness.

Bunni’s life was far, tar too short, but All 4 Paws promises to always remember her and to continue to bet on long shots in her memory.

Chewy… well named after Chewbacca due to her adorable little noises has had A LOT to say since the moment she was found and rescued by The Bond Between 🤣

Not much has changed as she’s grown… other than her size and lung capacity to make even more noise 🤪

Welcome to your next chapter, Ridglan beagles 🥹🥰

The Bond Between welcomed 30 of the beagles from Ridglan Farms. 30 dogs that are starting their new beginning. 30 dogs that are going home into cozy foster homes.

👆 This, right here, is why we were so thrilled to donate $15k to forty rescues, including The Bond Between, who helped save 1,500 beagles from being sold to research labs by Ridglan Farms.
