Big congratulations are in order to CATC students Nicole Towner and her lab, Minor! This stellar team completed their Rally Advanced title this past weekend at the Cheyenne Kennel Club trials. Onward to excellent for these two!

Update: Spot has filled!

Nicole Levesque has a rare spot available in her Monday 4:30pm “short sequences to build skills” class that starts on Monday, Sept. 14. This is an ongoing weekly class spot that is billed in 6 week sessions. Dogs must have gone through foundational training and be sequencing multiple obstacles at minimum.

Behind the scenes of our scent work classes, taught by Andrea Wojo and beautifully captured by Howling Moon Media!

Scent work is an amazing sport for dogs of all ages and capabilities. Even dogs with vision loss or certain physical limitations can often safely enjoy it — You'll notice Mack, Kirsten Belinsky's blind dog, happily enjoying his scent work class in the photos!

Last weekend was our fourth ACT event, and what a great one it was! We’re so grateful for everyone who came out to play with their dogs, and doubly thankful for all the help, support, and good vibes! Can’t wait for the next one ✨

Update: class has filled!

Ready to work on your dog's weave poles? Nicole Levesque is running a 6-week intensive class all about weaves! This focused class will introduce or improve upon your weave pole skills. We will be utilizing the channel poles and weave guides to work on entries, exits, speed, and independence.

Teams should have gone through an intro to foundations class with us at CATC or have equivalent training from another facility. Class starts on Tuesday, August 25 @ 4:45pm and will run for 6 weeks. Another successful AKC Agility Course Test (ACT) in the books! What a joy to watch the partnership, dedication, and heart these teams have. Not to mention the courage for many of these dogs and handlers to give this a try for the very first time! Thank you all for joining us today, and an extra thank you to everyone who volunteered to work by moving equipment and taking on day-of roles. It was hands down the smoothest ACT we've run so far thanks to you all (and working bathrooms 😉). More photos and videos to come, but for now we just want to say thank you and say how grateful we are for this community 🧡
