Sunday 10/8 9am-12:30pm Pro Room — 1 jump skills with Eden
This session is for dogs 11 months or older or if cleared by your instructor. This session will break down the handling moves on a jump for greater clarity. Wraps, Slices and Back side jumps will be the focus of this session and is great for young dogs or older dogs struggling with them!

Sunday 11/8 1:30-5pm Pro Room — Foundation Games with Eden
This session is for puppies 6 months or older and is a great way to introduce skills to start your agility journey with success. Building Drive, Focus and Discrimination skills on the ground to build skills without stressing the mind or body will be the focus!

Monday 11/9 9am-12:30pm Agility ring — Beginner/Intermediate Handling with Sabina

Monday 11/9 1:30-5pm Agility Ring — Advanced International handling with Sabina

Monday 11/9 9am-12:30pm Pro Room — Building jump commitment with Eden
This session is for dogs 6 months and older. In this session we will work on building skills on a jump for better commitment. In other words, how soon can you leave after cueing a jump or how far away from a jump can you get commitment? We will be using cones and/or jump wings for this session so you will not be asking your young dog to do any height at all.

CATC is excited to welcome a new instructor: Elle Panda Nakamura! She recently moved to Colorado from Hawai’i, and will begin teaching group classes at CATC in the near future.

About Elle:

Elle’s interest in dog training started with Miro. While completing her Master’s online during the pandemic, she was able to dedicate a lot of one-on-one time to training with him and learning more about dog training and behavior. Elle found dog sports through agility and Fast CAT and quickly became hooked, not only on the sports but on the supportive dog sport community she found in Hawaiʻi.

That interest grew into wanting to try just about everything, and she eventually got Maki primarily for agility. Today, she competes with Miro and Maki in agility, Fast CAT, scent work, Barn Hunt, and CAT, with dock diving next on their list. Her desire to keep learning and become more involved in dog sports eventually brought her to Colorado. As an instructor, Elle enjoys helping people build strong foundations with their dogs for everyday manners or dog sports. Having benefited from a welcoming community herself, she hopes to make dog sports just as approachable for others interested in giving them a try.
