🐛💎 Our Bug & Gem litters have officially turned 8 weeks old, and some of them are already off on their new adventures! 🥰

These two litters have been absolutely amazing. We’ve loved watching them grow, change, and honestly, surprise us week after week! We had coat patterns and types popping up that we most definitely weren’t anticipating, which made watching them develop even more exciting. 😍

I’d be lying if I said letting these babies go wasn’t hard. I found myself becoming attached to each and every one of them. I cried Tuesday night knowing that some of the best babies we’ve ever produced here at our rattery would be leaving within 24 hours. 🥹

But then I remember that feeling is exactly why we do what we do.

We love our rats, and we strive to produce only the best babies we possibly can so that we can share the love, joy, and experiences we get from them with all of you. Getting to watch these babies grow and then see them head off to wonderful new homes is such a bittersweet part of what we do. ❤️

Em and I hope everyone stays in touch! We’ll also be reviving an old page where everyone can share photos & updates. One of us will share the page here once it’s ready!

Here’s a couple reminders as babies are off to their new 🏡.

- Sneezes are normal the first couple weeks as they adjust to their new surroundings.

-When washing anything fabric from their cage, use a scent free laundry soap & dryer sheets. You can also add a splash of white vinegar to the washer with the soap if needed.

-All these babies are very bouncy and silly, if they seem alittle shy at first that is normal and they will adjust to you and show their silliness with time.

Thank you to everyone who supports our Rattery & welcomes our babies into your lives. They are very special to us and we hope to see them strive with their new people 🙂

🐀 Here we go! Reservations are officially OPEN! 🐀

Both of our current litters are now available for reservations to approved applicants! If you’re interested in rats from us and haven’t applied yet, our application can be found in our featured posts.

As a reminder, you’re welcome to mix and match between the two litters, as all of these babies are similar in age! 🥰

Please message us directly with the rats you’re interested in so we can keep track of the order in which we’re contacted. Comments on this post will NOT count as reservations.

Each baby’s photo is individually marked “Available” or “Reserved.” Please double-check that the rats you’re interested in are still available before messaging us! We’ve also placed colored hearts on each photo to indicate gender to hopefully make it easier for everyone, but they will also be listed below😅

We currently have 7 boys and 5 girls available. All babies must go home in at least pairs. If at any point only three rats of one gender remain, those three will be required to go home together.

Once we’ve received your deposit, we’ll update this post to reflect who is and isn’t still available. At this time, we can accept deposits via Cash App, Apple Cash, or Zelle.

You’re welcome to pay for your rats in full at the time of reservation. Otherwise, the remaining balance will be due the day of pickup.

🏡 These babies will be ready to go home starting 9/9! 🥰

✨ Reservation Day is almost here! ✨

Hello everyone! Here’s a little heads-up on how tomorrow is going to go! 🥰

Both litters will open for reservations tomorrow, 9/1, at 7:30 PM EST! 🎉

Reservations are open only to approved applicants. If you have not been directly told by one of us that you have been approved, you will not be eligible to reserve babies.

Between both litters, we have 7 boys and 5 girls available! 💕 As a reminder, our babies must go to their new homes in at least pairs. If at any point there are only three babies of either gender remaining, all three will need to go together.

🏡 Babies will be ready to move into their new homes starting Wednesday, 9/9!

We are also willing to travel within reason for a small additional fee. If you’re interested in this option, just let us know when you make your reservation and we can discuss the details! ☺️

💰 Deposits & Payments

Babies are not considered reserved until a deposit has been received. We require a minimum deposit of $5 per rat, or you are welcome to pay in full at the time of reservation.

We currently accept Cash App, Zelle, and Apple Pay for deposits. If you do not pay in full at reservation, the remaining balance will be due by the day of pickup.

• Babies are first come, first serve.
• Each photo will have a note underneath indicating whether that specific baby is still available.
• To reserve, please message us directly here on the page with the names of babies you are interested in.
• Comments on the post will NOT count as reservations.

Hello everyone!

I’ve finished going through all of the applications this evening and am looking forward to talking with everyone! 🥰

Now onto the fun stuff! Both litters will be going live Tuesday 9/1! 😍 As a reminder they will be open for reservation to approved applicants only. If you’re interested in rats from either the Bug or Gem litter, please make sure you’ve filled out an application and have heard back from me on officially being approved!

We will make another post with more info on how this will go down on Monday. It will contain the rules and break down exactly what needs to be done to reserve your babies.

Please feel free to shoot us a message or text if you have any questions in the meantime, but hopefully those will all be answered on Monday 🥰
