The Making Pegasus Stallion barn currently consists of 90 very diverse stallions which can add nearly any trait a breeder may desire.
Introducing “Plato” (3/4 Friesian 1/4 Quarter Horse) a large baroque versatile Stallion born 6/16/20 out of Making Pegasus mare “Jordan” (1/2 Friesian 1/2 APHA) and by “Sjoerd” a Friesian stallion with 74 National Titles and 2011 US Equestrian Federation Horse of the Year and Hall of Fame member.
Like his sire “Sjoerd”, “Plato” exudes charisma, presence and power with the agility of his dam’s Quarter Horse heritage. Like his Dam “Jordan”, Plato picked up her stunning smokey black color.
Under saddle, Plato is responsive, sure and confident. He stops on a dime and has the neck of a God.
“Plato’s” name comes from the ancient Greek philosopher (~400 BC) of the Classical period who is considered a foundational thinker in Western philosophy and an innovator of the written dialogue and dialectic forms. Plato's Theory of Forms asserts that the physical world is not really the 'real' world; instead, ultimate reality exists beyond our physical world. It is in Plato’s Symposium that a beautiful description of “Twin Souls” unfolds identifying love as the motivation of the pursuit of wholeness (Holiness) reuniting with the other half of our soul.
