Isn’t she gorgeous! Little Mira is still young. But one day in the not so distant future she will be seeking her forever home. Interested in adopting? She’s located in Livingston, Tx. I am fostering her, but am happy to send any interest in the direction it needs to go 💕

Sweet and sassy Mira. Still growing in the nursery and will be for a few more weeks at least. Are you her new mommy?

Kitty drama this week! 😅

We tried introducing Avery to Myia & Mylo, hoping some kitty company would help with his loneliness. Unfortunately, Mylo went a little too far off the deep end. 😳

Everyone is doing fine now, and we have some meds on hand for Mylo just in case. Avery is back in his own room with two new roommates, and he is so much less stressed and lonely.

He’s taking full advantage of the very best part of having bottle babies around:

FORMULA. 😋😂

Just a couple of licks here and there.

And just in case anyone would like to send anything our way, we could really use some more blankets and kitty litter 💕

This was my first year trying independent fostering.

The plan was simple: bottle babies, raise them, then find them wonderful homes.

That plan didn’t quite go as expected.

I quickly learned that finding the right homes wasn’t always easy. Even harder was saying goodbye. It was doable, but after nearly 30 kittens came through my nursery, I was also feeling a little burnt out.

When Myia came along she was the sweetest little thing who simply needed a safe place to land. We were told she would eventually walk, and she did—but not without a few wobbles. Somewhere along the way, my original plan began to change.

Then came Mylo. And an adorable little “Mouse” who had to leave this world too soon. And a few others who struggled or were recovering from injuries, including Avery who will also be staying.

That’s when I realized my fostering journey was taking me in a different direction.

I still want to foster. There will always be bottle babies and other kittens passing through these doors. In fact, right now the nursery is occupied by a beautiful tortoiseshell recovering from surgery.

But on a more personal level, I want to become a safe haven.

A place where kittens with special needs, injuries, or medical challenges can come to heal. A place where they can receive the care they need, recover at their own pace, and, if adoption is right for them, move on to wonderful homes. And if it’s not… they’ll always have one here.

The nursery is getting a facelift, and an outdoor space is being transformed into a kitty garden where they can safely explore, play, and enjoy life. My hope is to always have room for a few special little ones who need a place to land.

None of this changes the fact that fostering takes a village. The everyday needs—cat food, litter, cleaning supplies—and the medical expenses add up quickly. Every bit of support allows me to help one more kitten who needs a chance.

Tomorrow, Myia and Mylo are heading to the vet for their vaccinations. Avery is still healing beautifully but will soon need his own evaluation and vaccinations as well.

If you’d like to help these little ones on their journey, we’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation, every bag of food, every box of litter, and every kind word helps make this little sanctuary possible.

Thank you for believing in these tiny lives as much as I do. ❤️

This is Avery. He will be joining Myia & Mylo as sanctuary kitties. We think he may have some vision issues. Took him a while to heal from his head trauma, and he’s still healing. But getting there. I had him paired up with the SPCA bottle baby (who got adopted this week) and poor Avery is missing his buddy. Trying to introduce him to the other kitties, but will have to take it slow and easy. He’s such a sweetheart 💕

These two fun-loving 13-week-old kittens are searching for their forever home! I’d absolutely love to see them adopted together—they’re the perfect little duo.

Moose and Weasel have been in the nursery since they were just a couple of weeks old, raised as bottle babies. Watching them grow from tiny, fragile kittens into the happy, playful pair they are today has been such a joy.

They will be up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered before adoption.

Moose is sweet, playful, and full of personality. Walking through the house? He’ll happily attack your shoelaces. Cleaning the litter box? Don’t be surprised if you suddenly have a kitten riding on your back. Life is one big adventure, and Moose wants to be part of every bit of it.

Weasel is a quirky little girl with endless curiosity. See a tiny nose peeking through a crack? That’s probably Weasel. Hear a mysterious splash from the water bowl? Also Weasel. She’s always investigating, exploring, and finding new ways to make you smile.

They’ve spent their whole lives together, and I’d love nothing more than to see them begin their next adventure side by side. If you’re looking for a pair of entertaining, affectionate companions, Moose and Weasel are ready to fill your home with laughter, love, and just the right amount of mischief.

Interested in adopting? Please message me for an adoption form and more information. Thank you! 😊

Myia & Mylo have influenced something new, and because of that, things are growing in a new direction around here 💕

What started with bottle babies slowly turned into a love for the quirky little ones—the kittens who need a little extra understanding.

The long-term goal is a small sanctuary. Special residents living their best lives in a safe, enriching space.

I’ll still be fostering for organizations like the SPCA whenever I can, but over time you’ll start seeing this dream come to life here, one step at a time ❤️
