When you purchase, I donate half of my profits to organizations that save this majestic breed from a horrific death. The imperfections and flaws that are left behind on my art pieces may not be obvious, but they run parallel with the scars that these horses have endured on their terifying journey. Whether it be from a not so loving owner to the brutal long hours of a buggy horse to the cold 'end o

f the line' kill pens. At one time these horses were considered a special animal and brought many happy moments and in some cases, winning lots of money....so....what happen to the good times? Why are they shaking in fear, why are they in a dark place with unfamiliar surroundings and other horses attacking them? This is more then just a horse or two falling through the cracks. By purchasing my art, you are in turn helping me help them.

I have renamed this page.
The main reason is, I've had people ask me if I'm a rescue(which I am not)or where is my farm located because they have a horse to donate.
I simply create art and donate part of my profits to organizations that help pull the Standardbreds from the kill pens.
I believe the previous name, Reclaimed Equus, Restoring HOPE in Horses implied as such, when the new name will provide more clarity.

I'm considering renaming my fb page to
Reclaimed Equus Art for Horses
or
Reclaimed Equus Harness The Art
The reason why is because I've had multiple people ask me if I'm a rescue or where my farm is located and 'I have a horse I want to donate'.
I believe the current name implies all of the above, when the new name would give more clarity. I can still educate about the Standardbred and the need to help.

Just finished this Florida piece and was wondering 🤔, should I add 'Ole Florida' or 'Real Florida' to the gulf area?
Or leave it alone?

Almost done with quite possibly may be the last piece of the year. It's called 'In The Air' and it's a popular one. And this one in particular is on a larger scale. I think I've only done one other this size.
It may be the last because the weather is forcing us to think of cooler hobbies. Here in Florida, we suffer the humidity 😰 and at this time we do not have a closed in shop with a/c and vacuumed tools.
