This buck was harvested in the 2020 rifle season in Pennsylvania. Upon retrieving and processing the deer, it was discovered that this deer had been shot previously. It had a hole through its nose. The crazy part is, when the hunter was gutting the deer, he found the broadhead in its intestines. This deer was shot by an archery hunter, the arrow must have went through the deers nose and into the body of the deer. With the injury, it also caused the deer to begin the shedding of his antlers earlier than most. At some point in the process, one of the antlers popped off. We had to whiten the skull and re-attached the shed antler. It is wild what these deer go through and what they can survive.

This was a very unique rack to mount. It can be tricky to line up everything when they’re not symmetrical. We thought it turned out awesome though!
