Great information about gut health 💩😁🐾

🐶💩 DOES YOUR DOG STRUGGLE WITH LOOSE STOOLS, GAS OR A SENSITIVE STOMACH?

Sometimes it’s not just what your dog eats, but how well they digest it.

A fascinating study followed 21 healthy adult Golden Retrievers for 30 days and found that adding a small amount of store-bought kefir, a yogurt-like fermented milk, to their bowls produced some impressive results:

🥩 Better digestion — including significantly better protein digestion.

💩 Firmer, better-formed poops.

🗑️ ~40% less unwanted gut waste — ammonia produced from protein breakdown in the gut dropped dramatically.

🦠 More gut-nourishing short-chain fatty acids, important fuel for cells lining the colon.

❤️ Lower triglycerides, with the higher-kefir group also showing lower cholesterol.

It’s also why Dr. Karen Becker created Prime Enzymes™ - a full-spectrum digestive enzyme formula designed to help pets break down proteins, fats, carbohydrates and fiber, with ox bile and taurine for additional digestive support.

Whether you’re adding fermented whole foods like kefir (use about 1/2 teaspoon for every 10 lbs) or supporting the digestive process with enzymes, helping your dog get more from what’s already in their bowl can be a simple place to start.
