🐈Dear Cat Friends!
This time, we’re back in London 🇬🇧 to visit one of the most famous feline personalities in the world.
We came here especially to meet Larry, the cat who lives at 10 Downing Street.
Since 2011, Larry has held the official title of Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office.
🐁Yes. It’s a real job.
Larry came to Downing Street from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. His duties include keeping an eye on the building and, at least in theory, keeping the mouse situation under control.
Prime ministers have come and gone over the years.
Larry stayed.
He has his own place at Downing Street, regularly patrols the area, and is probably one of the most photographed cats in the UK.
Since we were paying an official visit to the Chief Mouser, the gift had to be appropriate.
💗We brought Calitti Crystals.
See you!

🐈Dear Cat Friends!
We’re still traveling the world to visit famous feline personalities.
We’re in Talkeetna, Alaska. 🇺🇸
We came here especially to meet Aurora. Aurora is a cat and the honorary mayor of Talkeetna.
Yes. The mayor.
Talkeetna doesn’t have an official mayor because it isn’t an incorporated city. So the locals entrusted the role to cats.
🐈It all started with Stubbs, a cat who lived at Nagley’s General Store. For nearly 20 years, he was known as the mayor of Talkeetna. He wasn’t elected in an official election, although that story circulated for years. His title was honorary.
After Stubbs, the tradition continued.
🐈Today, Aurora holds the title. She’s also part of Nagley’s General Store, which officially introduces her as Talkeetna’s Cat Mayor.
Her duties?
You can find Aurora at Nagley’s, where she welcomes locals and visitors. Sometimes, however, she leaves her post and goes off to do her own thing around Talkeetna. On our postcard, the mayor looks a little like a long-haired version of Lala. 😄
So she represents the town, attracts visitors, and isn’t always in the office.
We obviously couldn’t show up to meet the mayor empty-pawed. We brought her Calitti Crystals.

See you! 🇺🇸

Dear Cat Friends,

We’re in Kishi, Japan. 🇯🇵
We came here especially to visit three cats: Yontama, Gotama, and Rokutama. And yes, they really do hold official positions at Wakayama Electric Railway. They have job titles, workplaces, schedules, and even a career path.
🐈Yontama is the stationmaster at Kishi Station and holds the title of Manager Stationmaster, a management position equivalent to director level. She started as a trainee. Then she became a stationmaster, was promoted to Super Stationmaster, and eventually worked her way up to her current position.
🐈Gotama is a Fuku Stationmaster. She works at Kishi and Idakiso stations. “Fuku” is a play on words: it refers to a deputy role, but is also associated with good fortune.
🐈Rokutama is the youngest. Her official title is Stationmaster Candidate. Her employee profile says she’s brave, doesn’t like loud noises or having her claws trimmed, enjoys playing by herself, and eats a lot.
Promising.
👉So what exactly does a cat stationmaster do?
She welcomes passengers, represents the railway, and works scheduled shifts at the station. It all started with the famous Tama, the first feline stationmaster. Her duties included welcoming and seeing off passengers and attracting people to the railway.
People started coming just to see her at work.
😺So did we. And we brought them a few bags of Calitti Crystals.
