❤️ A little reintroduction! ❤️

Hi everyone! For those who may be newer here, or for those who have been following along for a while, I thought it was time to reintroduce myself and share a little more about the heart behind Hank & Jeri’s Dog Bakery. 🐾

My name is Jerilyn aka Jeri, the human half of Hank & Jeri's. The fluffier half was Hank my mastiff and he’s the reason this little business exists. ❤️ I started making homemade dog treats for him because he had allergies, and I wanted to know exactly what was going into the treats he ate. After Hank passed away, I turned that passion into Hank & Jeri’s Dog Bakery as a way to honor his memory and keep doing something I loved.

At the time, I also had my sweet Chewie, a Pitbull/Boxer mix, who became my official taste tester. 🐶 He was always there to help me make sure everything passed the pup test! Sadly, Chewie developed lymphoma and passed away when he was just three years old. Losing both of my boys was heartbreaking, and they will always be a part of the story behind this business.

Life has brought a lot of changes since I first started baking, and today, Hank & Jeri’s means more to me than ever. These days, it’s me and my son Cal, building our life together and he is my WHY. 💙 One of the biggest reasons I’ve continued growing this business is so I can spend more time with him, be present for the little moments, and show him what it looks like to work hard, build something of your own, and turn a passion into something meaningful.

After losing Hank and Chewie, we don’t currently have a dog of our own, but I look forward to the day we’re ready to welcome another furry family member. Until then, I get to spoil all of YOUR pups with homemade goodies, and I think that’s pretty special. 🐾❤️
