Ground cherries are a small, yellow-orange fruit that have a sweet-tart flavor similar to pineapple with a faint background flavor of tomato. Super delicious 😋

We’re in for a hot and dry summer. That means your yard might need a little extra care- and by extra care, we mean, less attention! If you want to maintain your green lawn through this hot season, remember: be . If you know that we won’t be seeing moisture for awhile, let that lawn go (about 3 days longer than you normally would). Longer grass holds moisture. Over-mowing can cause your grass to brown right before your eyes! Practice patience, and you will be rewarded with a healthy lawn.

First donation of the season!

Yesterday, we harvested bok choy and arugula to donate to the Husker Pantry. We filled the whole fridge and even spilled over onto the counter!

New and improved!

After a few months of cold weather, our hoop house got a new covering. Traditionally, these coverings are only supposed to last 2 years, but we made ours last for 6!

In the coming weeks, we will be setting up a heating system then getting some seeds in the ground for the season 🌱
