A Little Support for Those Affected by the Hawk Fire -
I am a Certified Therapy Dog Handler, and Nahkaito, my therapy dog, and I would like to offer some comfort and support to those affected by the Hawk Fire.
If you are a first responder, fire crew member, evacuee, victim, volunteer, support worker, or anyone else impacted by the fire, and you think a visit from Nahkaito might bring even a few moments of peace, distraction, or mental relief, please send me a DM directly.
We would be happy to come over the hill for a day or two and spend some time with those who could use a friendly, furry face and a little unconditional love.
Sometimes, even for just a moment, having a chance to breathe, smile, pet a dog, and step away from everything going on can make a difference.
No agenda. No expectations. Just a therapy dog who is happy to help.
If you or someone you know could benefit from a visit, please DM me directly, and we’ll do our best to coordinate a time and place.
Sending love, gratitude, and support to everyone affected by the Hawk Fire.
