Woot woot!!! Its going to be a great weekend!! Get started at the LMH market to get some soap and fresh food, then go to downtown Lincoln to enjoy free face painting and kids activities, eat from some amazing food trucks, buy some art, root for your favorite dock dog, and enjoy the hot air balloons overhead.

WHAT WE CHOOSE TO BUY MATTERS.

In a livestock class I took a few years back my professor said if you keep livestock that means you'll also have dead stock.

Keeping livestock is not for the faint of heart.
We literally tell our animals that we love them every single night when we put them to bed. It's true. We really do.

Tonight one of my young ones didn't get to hear that.

I buried him here on the farm.

It's not all pretty.
