My 6 year old son tonight: “wow mommy how are we going to say bye to all of these really cute puppies? They are really just so cute”

Me: “it’ll be hard bud but they are already so loved by their new families and we’ll get to see updates of them all and love on our dogs too”

Him: “yeah I guess you’re right. They are just so cute and I love them and miss them already” 🥺🥺🥺

The realities of breeding and having your kids alongside helping you every single day. They are with these puppies for countless hours every single day whether that’s cuddling or playing with them or helping me clean up after them with their , helping me wash and dry them, or brushing them. They are with me every step of the way with our curriculum and the entire process from birth to going home with families. It’s so important for the puppies development to be raised around young kids to learn how to play and interact with them and also boundaries and it’s also a life lesson for my kids as well. They each say their goodbyes before families arrive so it’s not so hard on all of them.

Puppy updates as they grow are not only special to me but they are also special to my kids. They love each and every one of them so much and remember them all as they grow ❤️ it’s also funny how they remember what color collar they were too 😅😂
