Meet the Pack: Once Upon a Gus Gus

Next up in our Meet the Pack series is a very special boy — Once Upon a Gus Gus, affectionately known as Gus Gus!

Gus is our traditional black-and-white Springer and is co-owned with my mom, but make no mistake—he is fully considered part of the House Tiner pack. He only lives a few houses down, so he is constantly coming over to spend time with everyone. Around here, family is everything!

Gus is hardy, smart, incredibly fun-loving, and absolutely obsessed with his toys. He’s a lover through and through and is permanently Velcroed to his mom. When he isn’t following her around, you can usually find him playing with his favorite buddy, his miniature Schnauzer sister, Hazel.

His name, Once Upon a Gus Gus, was chosen in honor of my late aunt and her favorite Disney characters, making his name -Gus- a very special part of our family.

Gus may have a home of his own just a few houses away, but he is, and always will be, one of ours. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Family is everything at House Tiner.

Meet the Pack: Pepper

Continuing our Meet the Pack series, today we’re introducing a very special girl in our family — Pepper.

Pepper is our beautiful liver-and-white girl and our rescued member of the pack. She was rescued while my dad was still alive, and he absolutely adored her. Because of that, Pepper has always held a very special place in our hearts.

Pepper came to us with some behavioral challenges, including aggression, and she has been through a lot of rehabilitation, patience, training, and love to help her become the dog she is today. Watching her progress and learn to trust and enjoy life has been incredibly rewarding.

Today, Pepper is a fun-loving, spunky girl who LOVES her treats and toys. Honestly, we don’t think she has ever met a treat or toy she didn’t like! And when it comes to puppies, Pepper is the best “Aunt” we could ask for. She absolutely loves them and has become such a wonderful part of raising and socializing our babies.

Pepper will not be bred, but she has an important place in our program and in our family. Not every dog has to produce puppies to have a purpose — some are simply here to be loved, and Pepper has certainly earned her spot.

We’re so lucky to have this special girl in our pack. 🤎

Meet the Pack: The Violet Jules of House Tiner

Next up in our Meet the Pack series is our beautiful Violet!

Violet is our sable roan girl, and she is full of loving, fun energy. She’s a professional couch cuddler who is just as happy curled up beside you as she is out exploring the world.

Don’t let her sweet, cuddly side fool you, though—Violet can sniff out just about any animal that wanders into the backyard! She’s also a fantastic traveler, loves the beach, and is always ready for the next adventure.

Violet is currently working on her obedience and learning new skills as we explore the possibility of doing shed work with her. She’s also an amazing hiking partner and loves getting out on the trails.

She’s the perfect mix of affectionate companion and adventurous Springer, and we absolutely love having her as part of our pack!

Stay tuned for the next Meet the Pack introduction!

Meet the Pack: Sir Warren of House Tiner

We’re starting a new series here at House Tiner Springers: Meet the Pack! Over the next few posts, we’ll be introducing you to each of our dogs and sharing a little more about their personalities, quirks, and what makes each one so special to us.

First up is Warren:

Warren is our handsome black-and-white ticked boy. He’s athletic, playful, obedient, and has that wonderful Springer personality we love so much. But underneath all that energy, he’s a total cuddle bug who is perfectly happy settling in on the couch with us.

He’s an amazing combination of drive, personality, and affection—and we’re so proud to have him as part of the House Tiner family.

Stay tuned as we continue Meet the Pack and introduce you to the rest of our Springer family!

So fresh and clean! We recently added these buckets above the crates in place of hooks, and they’ve been such a great addition to our setup. Each dog now has a designated spot for their personal leash, harness, and other belongings, which keeps everything organized and easy to find.

Keeping our space clean is a top priority, and having the right organization in place makes it so much easier to stay on top of our cleaning routine. Sometimes it’s the simple changes that make the biggest difference!

Brooke has claimed her spot on the bed and her signature hairdo 😂

Take your dogs on vacation! We visited Neptune beach with a few of our girls and they had a blast!
