Today was one of those transports that hits different. 💔🐾

Miss Iesha made one of the hardest decisions a pet parent could ever make. After recently getting sick, life changed and she knew she could no longer give her sweet boy Silas the time and care he deserves. For 5 years, Silas wasn’t just a dog — he was family, a companion, and a best friend through life’s ups and downs.

You could see the love between them the entire time. These are the moments people don’t talk about enough… sometimes loving your animal means doing what’s best for THEM even when it breaks YOU.

We were honored to help transport Silas safely and comfortably during this emotional transition. Please keep Iesha in your prayers during this difficult time and send Silas all the love as he begins his next chapter. 🐶💙

Another emergency call… and this one hit close.

Scooch was having a seizure, and his owner James didn’t know what to do. In a panic, he called Scott County EMS—and they reached out to us.

By God’s timing, we were already on another transport just 6 minutes away. We dropped everything and got there immediately—Johnny on the spot.

Moments like this are exactly why Port-A-Pet exists. When things go wrong and you don’t know who to call… we’re that call.

After one of the most intense emergency transports we’ve ever taken on… Ellie is finally back home where she belongs — safe, loved, and right by Danielle’s side.
