Changing Leashes Rescue & Rehab Inc. We are a non-profit registered 501(c)3 public charity. Our mission is to rescue and rehab animals in need. We work with adopters on the east coast.

We help take them in and when they are ready we help them find their forever home and family.

Meet Atlas! He is approximately 3yo and needs a forever home with an active family. Atlas belonged to a disabled Veteran who wanted a better life for Atlas as he isnt able to provide him with the level of activity that Atlas needs. Absolutely NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS. People make choices about pets they love to ensure their pet has the best life. When their circumstances do not allow for that and they choose to find a better home for the betterment of their pet, you need to respect that and help them find it.

Atlas does well with kids and enjoys walking, playing and most anything active. He needs a yard to play in, an active person to take him on walks, etc if youre interested in adopting this fella and giving him a loving home, please submit an application to adopt. The rescue will be completely vetting Atlas as part of his adoption.

Our boy made it through surgery and recovery and is headed back to the rescue.
