Some people's dislike of you has absolutely nothing to do with anything you did and everything to do with what you know. Because the moment someone realizes you can see past their performance, past the carefully constructed image they present to the world, past the manipulation and the calculated moves and the twisted versions of the truth they feed to everyone around them, you become a threat.
Not because you are dangerous but because you are aware. And aware people cannot be controlled, cannot be manipulated, and cannot be easily used. That makes you inconvenient to someone who has built their entire way of operating around people not seeing clearly.
So the next time someone's dislike of you feels confusing because you cannot point to a single thing you did wrong, look closer. Ask yourself what you know about them that they wish you did not. Ask yourself when the shift happened and what you saw right before it did.
Because nine times out of ten you will find that the moment you stopped being fooled is the exact moment you stopped being liked. That is not a reflection of your character. That is a confirmation of your discernment. The people who cannot manipulate you will never be comfortable around you, and that discomfort is one of the greatest compliments your awareness will ever receive.
