Weโre excited to introduce the newest member of Lakeside Veterinary team... Dr. Amanda Combs!
Dr. Combs was born and raised in Maryland, where her passion for veterinary medicine first began. She earned her associateโs degree from Anne Arundel Community College before completing her Bachelor of Science at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Ross University in St. Kitts, though she assures us it wasnโt all beach time!
Dr. Combs has called South Carolina home for the past four years. She shares her life with a lively group of pets, including three Chihuahua mixes, Lola, Iris, and Ginger, a bearded dragon named Toad, and a special three-legged cat named Aggi. Outside of work she enjoys reading, painting, and working on puzzles, as well as hosting game nights with friends. She also loves to bake and cook in her spare time.
Dr. Combs will be seeing exotic animals in addition to cats and dogs! She welcomes rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, hamsters, mice, rats, reptiles, chickens, goats and most anything that can walk through our front door (no spiders!). If youโre unsure, just give us a call and ask!
