AMEN AND AMEN!!

Dear Lowes, Targets, Kohls, Walmarts, ALDIs, Home Depot’s, Krogers, Jewels & all other stores that have self checkout….

You are heading towards almost exclusively self-checkouts now.

The lady/man checking receipts at the exit was stopping everyone.

I didn't choose to participate in that nonsense, I had already:

🛒filled my cart
🛒emptied my cart
🛒scanned the items
🛒refilled my cart

and so I just skipped the exit line and left.

I heard her saying "umm - Excuse me“ as I kept walking and raised the receipt above my head, leaving the store.

You can either trust me to do self-checkout, or you can put your cashiers back in place like it used to be.

• I'm not interested in proving that I did your job for you.

• If you want me to be a cashier with no training then that's your problem not mine.

• Keep employing young people and give them job opportunities.

YOU DON'T PAY ME TO SCAN MY OWN SHOPPING.

YOU DON’T GIVE ME STAFF DISCOUNTS FOR WORKING FOR YOU.

So thankful to be home from the hospital. Feels great to be showered and in my own space. That said, I am still grateful for the amazing Drs and nursing staff at Medical City Lewisville. They were truly amazing and am so thankful for the care I received.

Also so thankful for all the prayers, visits, and good vibes received from my family and friends.

Praying for a smooth and fast recovery.

BE GRATEFUL EVERYDAY YOU WAKE UP. LOVE your KIDS APPRECIATE the air you breathe. Hug them hold them. Love them so hard they know you are there through it all.

I try to only share things in hopes to inspire, to bring hope, awareness and I don’t share my personal life just my experiences.

BUT Last night my children and I almost lost our life to a drunk driver. The accident is unexplainable but today all I want to do is love them more and harder and to just be better in life.

I can’t explain the pain and fear we are all in today. What my children now have to suffer through fear and pain and hold onto this trajectory experience.

I will turn this into a reason to add NO I don’t drink for many many reasons and as I share my story more and more you will know why . If this would have been 7 years ago I can guarantee I probably would’ve had a drink as well and I wouldn’t have seen her coming. I was aware alert and clear and was able to move and change the place of impact or we would’ve all been gone.

LOVE YOUR FU$&ING LIFE
DON’T be so selfish you risk taking someone’s life, and their children. There’s enough in life we have to worry.

I’ve been there there’s no excuse.

Thank you God for watching over me and my kids.

Thank you to the man and woman that stopped to pull us out of the vehicle and help my children.
