We were searching Marketplace for a couple of things we need and thought we hit the jackpot finding these mops and wall cleaners for $10!
What we didn’t know is how much we needed Peggy and our conversation. She recently lost her heart dog who meant everything to her.
We wanted to make sure we thanked her for her kindness. Also, she donated the mops to the rescue. 🛟 🐾
No matter how big or how small, together we can make a difference.
Peggy… we needed this. Thank you. 😊

MADISONS SAVE! 🐾 🐱
ODAAT was contacted about 4 orphaned babies. Sadly momma was found deceased having been baled along with her babies on a horse farm. Thankfully the babies survived and Madison, a young lady who works at the farm reached out to her Aunt for help. ODAAT adopter, Penny Lee Amrhein contacted us and we knew these precious souls need bottle feeding. This is no easy task. Janet Shetron stepped forward and said she would help them. Literally moments later ODAAT foster, Nancy Destreel pm'd us and said she was on her way back from Harrisburg and was going to drop off some supplies from her last foster, Little Miss Taffy. Another God wink moment as the babies were in Dauphin!
So a transport was set up and 3 legs later... babies are safe, warm and fed!~
Team work... working together for the common goal... this is what we love about animal lovers. And just look at what we can do when we work together! ❤
Thanks so much to everyone involved.

Happy 3rd birthday Orla Louise Bernaiche!💕🎈🎂
We want to tell everyone how wonderful our adopters are... this girl right here had total hip replacement surgery last year. Apparently she was born with a birth defect that until she got bigger did not show any symptoms. It got to a point where it was too painful to move. This Birthday is extra special. In most cases owners could not or would not invest in that very costly surgery. This family never waivered. It was never a question. And look at her NOW!
Orla Louise you have a very special family who loves you like we wish all dogs were loved. Your beginning may have been bad... but thanks to ODAAT supporters giving us a chance to save you and your siblings... the rest of your days you will be that sassy little girl bossing around her BIG brother, Ollie, who has no idea just how lucky you are! 🥰🐾🐾

It’s a good thing they are cute because otherwise they would be fired. 😂

Walter is ready for his forever home!
He will need time to decompress and then watch out… Walter is super sweet and loves neck scratches and lots of attention. He will head but you for more lovins! He absolutely loves you mice and will toss them up in the air and pounce on them! He also loves any toys with catnip and will roll around like crazy, it's very entertaining. He likes snoozes on the couch and lounging by the window. He loves cat treats and has the cutest little meow. He would do well in a home with other cats or by himself. He isn't bothered by the large breed dog, so a home with a dog wouldn't bother him either way. He is litter box trained. He is long haired, so extra grooming is necessary. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Applications can be found on our website at www.onedogatatime.us

When applying to adopt through ODAAT, please know that we take pride in placing our animals appropriately based on their needs and personality. We want the best family for them and the perfect fit for your family. All applications are ran prior to choosing an adopter.. This process takes time and we do not adopt out on a "first come first served" basis. Applications are found on our website www.onedogatatime.us.
