Five Dollar Friday💜🧡

Keeping a shelter clean is such an important part of caring for the animals we love. A clean space helps keep our dogs and cats healthy, comfortable, and safe while they wait for their forever homes. Our amazing staff works incredibly hard every single day to keep the shelter clean and running smoothly, and we are so thankful for everything they do.

This Five Dollar Friday, we are asking for help with some of our everyday use supplies. These items may seem simple, but they are things we go through constantly and truly need to keep the shelter going. Items like Dawn dish soap, dryer sheets, laundry detergent, contractor trash bags, Ziploc bags, Windex, scrub brushes, adult cat and dog dry food, treats, stainless steel bowls, kitten bottles, kitten formula, non-clumping cat litter, exam gloves, and more make a huge difference in our daily care.

If you would like to help, a small donation of just $5 can go a long way. Thank you for always helping us care for the homeless animals of Greenbrier County. 🐾

🐾❤️ WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SUCCESS! THANK YOU, CORNERSTONE IGA! ❤️🐾

Now that the Cornerstone IGA Animal Shelter Donation Drive has officially come to an end, we are honestly blown away by the generosity we witnessed throughout this campaign!

From the very first drop-off to the very last, the amount of food, cleaning supplies, treats, toys, and other much-needed essentials donated for the animals at the Greenbrier Humane Society was absolutely incredible. 🐶🐱

We cannot say THANK YOU enough to the entire team at Cornerstone IGA for choosing to support our shelter, creating the convenient $10 donation bags, encouraging their customers to participate, and giving our community such an easy way to make a difference.

And to every single person who added a donation bag to their groceries, picked up an extra item from our wishlist, or contributed in any way-YOU made this drive the success that it was! Every item that came through our doors represents something we won't have to purchase and another resource we can put directly toward caring for the animals who need us.

Community partnerships like this mean more to our shelter than we can adequately put into words. Having a local business step up and say, “We want to help,” and then seeing their customers rally behind them is something truly special.

Cornerstone IGA, you showed up BIG for our animals, and we are so incredibly grateful. ❤️

Thank you for believing in our mission. Thank you for supporting our staff. Thank you for rallying your customers. And most of all, thank you for helping us care for the hundreds of animals who depend on the Greenbrier Humane Society.

What an amazing three weeks. What an amazing community. And what an amazing partner we have in Cornerstone IGA! 🛒🐾❤️

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to the wonderful clients and staff of White Sulphur Springs Center for spending time with us and lending a helping hand at the Greenbrier Humane Society! 🐶🐱

We are so grateful for the time, energy, and kindness you shared with our shelter and the animals in our care. It was such a pleasure having everyone here, and we truly appreciate every helping hand!

We also want to recognize the incredible staff at White Sulphur Springs Center. The dedication, encouragement, and care you show your clients is truly noticed, and it was wonderful to see that same compassion brought into our shelter. ❤️
