A love letter to Oliver. šŸ¤

For the last eight years, Iā€™ve had the privilege of calling Ollie mine. Iā€™ve owned him since he was imported in 2018, and anyone who truly knows me in this business knows just how much this pony means to me.

The decision to sell him was not one I took lightly. In fact, letting him go was one of the harder decisions Iā€™ve had to make.

Oliver has left an imprint on me that goes far beyond ribbons, horse shows, or anything he accomplished in the ring. He has made an impact on who I am as a rider, a trainer, an owner, and, most importantly, a horseman.

He is one of those ponies whose personality simply fills a barn. His bright spirit, his heart, his opinions, and his unmistakable presence have always shown through in everything he does. There was never any question when Oliver was aroundā€”you knew it. And I already miss hearing his Winnies echo through the barn.

There are horses and ponies that come into our lives and teach us things, and then there are the truly special ones who become part of who we are. Oliver is that pony for me.

As bittersweet as it is to no longer call him mine, I could not be happier knowing where he landed. He found the most special family and the sweetest little girl to call his own, and at the end of the day, that is everything I could have hoped for him. He deserves to be loved deeply, appreciated for exactly who he is, and to have a little girl who looks at him and knows just how special he is.

And a very special thank you to Stephanie Peterson, who put this match together and, maybe even more importantly, patiently helped me work through all of the thoughts, emotions, and concerns that came with actually letting him go. šŸ¤

Eight years never feels like enough with one this special.

Thank you, Oliverā€”for every lesson, every memory, every win, every challenge, every whinny, and every piece of yourself you gave me along the way.
You will always, always be one of mine. šŸ¤

We have two very exciting congratulations! šŸŽ‰

āļøCongratulations to the Taylor Family on the purchase of Gryffindor THF! ā¤ļø This pony and partnership is extra special to us, not only because he was bred right here on our farm, but because Newman Equestrian had his brother over the last year for Cora and they had a very successful year! We are so excited to see Cora on another one of our sweet smalls and canā€™t wait to watch their journey together. šŸ„°

āļø Congratulations to the Berlin Family on the lease of Just My Style! This superstar of a pony is ready to continue teaching kids the ropes, and they have already collected some pretty ribbons together! Weā€™re so excited to see whatā€™s ahead for this partnership. šŸ†

A huge thank you to Newman Equestrian who helped make these wonderful partnerships possible! We are so grateful for all of the support and excited to see these ponies bring so much joy to their new families. ā¤ļøšŸ“

Home is more than four walls, a roof, or a place on a map.

Itā€™s the feeling of being rooted. The comfort of familiar places, the memories held in old wood and worn floors, the laughter that lingers long after the moment has passed. Itā€™s where we gather, where we grow, where we find restā€”and where we become part of something bigger than ourselves.

For some, home is a childhood house. For others, itā€™s a farm, a barn, a piece of land passed down through generations, or a place they built with their own hands.

Home means something different to everyone, but at its heart, home is belonging.

And maybe thatā€™s why places like this feel so special. They remind us that home isnā€™t simply where we liveā€”itā€™s where our hearts feel at peace. šŸ¤ We are so grateful for everyone that makes TyField a home!
