This is Elvis in reverse order. Pictures, of Elvy,by the pickup are current August 2026. Picture with the purple blanket is Elvis at one or two days old(2014/ 2015ish.)
A pregnant cow at the local livestock yard had went down and couldn’t get up. The salebarn yard back crew called KrisT. KrisT called Doctor Ford. They performed a c-section on the cow. We threw Elvis in our minivan and took him back to the Ford Ranch. For years after being weaned from his bubba…he would still take big ol’ glurps of KrisT’s chocolate shakes whenever she would offer. Elvis loved breeding season because momma KrisT was around the barn more often with more chocolate shakes!💃🏼

KrisT’s little grullo mare did it again!😎 What a spectacular c**t she has this year! I’m still not sure what color he has decided on. He is not a blue roan anymore, but he does have roan hair in his coat. Brown roan I guess.😋 Regardless of color…he is a beast!

All of our kids are molting! Looks like the blue roans have decided on buckskin instead. The red roans look like they will stay red roans, but they are changing where the roan/ silver hair is dominant. Wild how much they change. We shall have the whole truth in a week or two.🫵
