☀️🐾 Summer Pet Safety Tips🐾☀️

🌡️ Avoid peak heat hours
Walk pups early in the morning or later in the evening when sidewalks and air temps are cooler.

💧 Always provide fresh water
Bring water on walks and make sure pets have constant access to clean, cool water at home.

🖐️ Check the pavement
If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for paws. Asphalt can burn in seconds.

🌳 Stick to shade when outside
Limit direct sun exposure and take frequent breaks in shaded or grassy areas.

🚗 Never leave pets in a parked car
Even a few minutes can cause a heatstroke.

🐶 Watch for signs of overheating:
Heavy panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or confusion ‼️

FLETCH enjoys playtime outside (and in) and just needs an active play buddy to enjoy it with. If you believe you are just the ticket, we invite you to the doggie dorm to be FLETCHER's lucky choice.
BCSAPS is open Mon - Fri 10-5 and Sat 10-2. Please arrive at least 30 min before closing to give the staff time to pack your new family member's bags.
