❤️ A Celebration of Life Honoring Jim Everett

As we continue to remember and celebrate the remarkable life of Jim Everett, founder of Country Junction – The World's Largest General Store, we are planning a very special tribute in his honor.

During Thanksgiving week, we hope to bring together family, friends, and the entire community at Country Junction for a heartfelt celebration of Jim's life, his many accomplishments, and the lasting legacy he leaves behind.

We're hoping to include a special parade in his honor—a fitting tribute to a man who loved bringing people together, especially during his favorite holiday, Thanksgiving.

While plans are still coming together, we wanted to share what's in the works and invite everyone to be part of this meaningful celebration.

Stay tuned as we finalize the details. We look forward to coming together as a community to honor a man who gave us so much to celebrate. ❤️

❤️ It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of James “Jim” Everett, founder of Country Junction – The World’s Largest General Store.

Jim was a man of big ideas, incredible vision, and an unwavering determination to turn those ideas into reality. What began as a small family business in the early 1980s grew into something truly extraordinary—a destination that has welcomed generations of families and created countless memories along the way.

Alongside his wife, Jan, Jim built more than just a store. He built a place where families could gather, traditions could begin, and visitors could experience a little bit of magic around every corner.

Even after a devastating fire destroyed the original store in 2006, Jim’s determination never wavered. He believed in what Country Junction could be, and with the support of his family, employees, and community, he rebuilt it bigger and better than ever.

Jim’s entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and larger-than-life dreams helped shape Country Junction into the beloved landmark it is today. His legacy lives on not only in the business he built, but in the people he inspired, the lives he touched, and the memories made by generations of families who have walked our Yellow Brick Road.

As we mourn his passing, we extend our deepest love and sympathy to the entire Everett family.

Thank you, Jim, for dreaming big, never giving up, and creating something that will continue to bring joy to families for generations to come.

Your vision will live on, and you will be deeply missed. ❤️
