Our mission -to improve animal welfare globally by expanding access to veterinary care and building the knowledge, skills and resources. Worldwide Vets is a non-profit organisation that aims to reduce suffering, advance welfare and improve medical care available to all species worldwide. In order to achieve this goal, we work in over 10 countries, across 4 continents, supporting local people and a

nimals, vet clinics and conservation initiatives. Each of our locations is unique, but whether we are working with wild or domestic animals, helping shelters, organising TNR campaigns or training local vets, the aim is the same: to improve the lives of the animals. We offer a multi-modal approach to assisting animals, including:

-Sending vets to areas needing support
-Sourcing and sending medications and equipment
-Training local vets and technicians
-Ongoing volunteer programs and set date outreach missions

Our Wildlife Vet is 40 hours of RACE accreditation every 2 weeks - this is for veterinary students or qualified professionals.

Our Wildlife Husbandry is open to anyone and you will experience an immersive educational programme focused on wildlife veterinary systems, rehabilitation science, and conservation practice.

Located in Pune in India, choose from 2-4 weeks and internships start every Friday 🐾

About the Role

Worldwide Vets Charity Trust seeking another Ukrainian veterinarian to join our team. This is a surgical role, focused on sterilisation of animals.

Working alongside international volunteers.
Be part of a compassionate team committed to improving welfare.
Chance to travel nationally and internationally for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Sterilisation surgery. Candidate must be able to do 20 to 30 per day and be confident operating unassisted.
- Communication with community at educational outreach events
- Planning and running mobile missions
- Coordinate visits from international volunteers

Skills needed:
- Qualified vet
- Registered in Ukraine
-Computer literacy (Microsoft, Google, Social Media).
-English language an advantage
