Happy “National Dog Day”!

Since March, Koly has been working hard and putting in the training to prepare for her NAVHDA test. Watching her grow, learn, and become more confident throughout this journey has been such a rewarding experience.

I’m so proud of her and everything she accomplished. She gave it her all, and that’s what matters most. She earned a Prize III in her Gun Dog test, she had some amazing water and field retrieves but needs a bit more time with her steadiness.

A huge thank you to her trainers Cristin and Brandt for all of their guidance, patience, knowledge, and support along the way and Quill Feather Farms for their amazing training facility.
We truly couldn’t have done it without you! Your time and dedication have made such a difference in Koly and in me as a handler.

This has been quite the journey, and I’m so grateful for everyone who has been a part of it. Here’s to all the training, hard work, muddy days, and everything still to come! 🐾🧡

First time doing water retrieving, now we are one splash closer to the perfect retrieve.

Not only is it Cinco de Mayo, but it’s Koly’s 3rd birthday 🎉 We started the day with some fastCAT trials in Palmyra and had our best time this season at 27.46 mph. We celebrated with a birthday burger ( bison, elk, wild boar and waygu) then finished up with a birthday shopping trip! We had a super day!
