Life is replete with challenges, but why do we abandon them simply because they are imperfect? A compelling illustration of this is the story of a boxer, who, despite being without papers, pedigree, or history, was found on the side of the road, lost and frightened. Initially, she found love and care in her first home, but was eventually replaced by another dog. The gentleman who subsequently took her in planned to euthanize her, but we intervened, saving her and finding two potential homes that, unfortunately, were unable to meet her specific needs. As a result, she has become a cherished member of our family, embodying our core value that every boxer deserves time to feel loved and valued, regardless of imperfections. It is worth noting that God is the only perfect entity in our hearts. This remarkable boxer has been known by several names, including Cookie and Lilith, but her final and enduring name will be Circe. As a family, we have collectively chosen this name, and our organization will provide her with a forever home. Circe will receive unwavering love, compassion, and training as an agility runner, ultimately becoming a therapy dog for other dogs with issues.
