They will be offering wellness exams and rabies shots for pups during the event.

Appointments are required and spots are now open online.

Summer in Leadville is all about getting outside, and our pets love it too. 🐾

Whether you’re heading out for a walk, camping trip, BBQ, or weekend adventure, here are a few easy ways to keep your pets safe:

Bring extra water
Find shade when you can
Check pavement before walks
Never leave pets in a parked car
Keep pets secure around crowds or while traveling
Make sure collars, ID tags, and microchips are up to date

A little extra planning helps make summer safer and more fun for everyone.

It’s that time of year again! 🐾

Bark in the Park is back, and we’re inviting you and your pups to join us for a tail-wagging day at Huck Finn Park!

Come enjoy playtime in the fenced-in park, casual games, co****le, prize drawings, dog-friendly fun, and a chance to connect with local animal services. Water and treats will be provided for the pups, plus light refreshments for their humans.

Modern Mobile Vet will also be on-site offering wellness exams and rabies shots. Appointments are required, so be sure to book ahead at modernmobilevet.com.

Memorial Day Weekend is a fun time for travel, BBQs, camping, and outdoor adventures, but busy weekends can be stressful or risky for pets. 🐾

A few quick reminders to help keep your pets safe:
- Keep them cool with plenty of water and shade
- Make sure they have a collar, ID tag, or updated microchip
- Watch for hot pavement during walks
- Keep pets secure during travel and busy gatherings
- Avoid giving them table scraps or unsafe BBQ foods
- Give them a quiet space if the weekend feels overwhelming

Leadville pet tip 🐾

As the weather warms up, it’s a great time to keep an extra eye on your pet’s paws, hydration, and tick prevention.

After walks or hikes, take a few minutes to check their paws for irritation, look for ticks, and make sure they have plenty of fresh water. A little prevention can go a long way in keeping pets healthy and comfortable.
