Greater Haverhill Arts Association The GHAA was created in 1971 to provide artists and enthusiasts with a sense of community as well as opportunities to share their art.

Since 1971 the GHAA has provided artists and enthusiasts with a sense of community as well as opportunities to share their art. Our various artist members work in every medium: acrylic, oil, pastel, watercolor, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, photography, and printmaking. A number of them accept commissions for landscapes, still lifes, or portraits (people, pets, buildings). One of the ways we support artists is to offer twice- monthly workshops for learners of all ages and skills. Another is to present painting demonstrations by esteemed professional artists. Both opportunities are open to the public. Our mission is to promote art and artists and to keep art integral to our lives and accessible and affordable for all.
