It’s almost time for Justin to put his first ride on Buddy! 🤗 If you’ve been following the videos of this sweet horse, you can see that his confidence has continued to grow as he learns how to think through pressure. Interesting fact about Buddy- he’s actually 17 this year. He had around 90 days put on him as an 8 year old and came to us after an extended break. Justin has really taken his time making sure that the right building blocks are in place to set Buddy up for success! Amy Jones

Let’s talk feed!

Each horse within our program has a diet tailored to their specific needs. Forage is the base of our feeding program, followed by Bluebonnet grain and different supplements to fill in any gaps.

We have a few unique ways of determining where a horse is lacking in nutritional support. By addressing the needs of the horse as an individual, we are able to improve the horse’s quality of life while also setting them up for success throughout the training and rehab process!

💥If you have a horse you’d like on our books for the fall, now is the time to grab your spot!!

We have atleast one spot opening in September with the possibility of 2-3 other spots opening up. We have horses on our list through November, so please don’t wait if you’d like to get your horse in! We don’t want to miss anyone!

We love seeing Buddy starting to gain a little confidence and show some curiosity! The first day Justin brought his “bag on a stick” into the round pen Buddy was ready to book it out of there. A few sessions later and he’s much more confident under a bit of increased pressure. It isn’t about the bag, it’s about flipping the switch from reactive to thinking. More fun to come from this big guy! Amy Jones
