A gentleman and a lady keep their words…including words or promises to adopt a pet. It is for life.
Our Milkshake is one of the most difficult cats we have had. She is bossy, a bully to other cats and growls then swipes. I admit there were a few times I wanted to rehome her but never would do that to break a promise or pass the problem/monkey to someone else like a rescue. Milkshake is one of my many teachers in life. Through her we found a better solution to stomatitis, reduce inflammation in her mouth and seek solutions before we take one vet’s advice. Today she is 14 years old, gained weight to 12 lbs from 9 and had almost no inflammation in her gums drool. Took us 1.5 years putting her on a diet and med that worked.
Antibiotic shot from vet each month
Predisone shot from vet every other month
Ge**er baby food (meat flavor)
Fancy Feast wet food
Hydrocare off and on from Purina
Churros treats in the beginning when all she ate was churros
Now she eats Purina dry food when she visits outside (enclosed yard) where we have neighborhood cats coming to eat.
