🐾 Happy National Dog Walker Appreciation Day! 🐾

Today we're giving a big THANK YOU to the people who lace up their shoes, grab the leash, fill their pockets with p**p bags (the glamorous part of the job 😂), and head out the door to make our pups' days a little happier! 🐕❤️

At Boulder City Critter Sitter, dog walking is about so much more than getting in a few steps. It’s sniffing every very important bush, investigating neighborhood happenings, getting some exercise and enrichment, and making sure every pup gets plenty of love and attention along the way.

And I especially want to give a huge shout-out to my amazing Certified Critter Crew! 🥰 Thank you for loving our clients' babies like they're your own and for showing up for them day after day—in the sunshine, wind, cold and, yes...our lovely Nevada heat! ☀️😅

To all the professional dog walkers out there: Happy National Dog Walker Appreciation Day! Your four-legged clients may not be able to say thank you...

…but the excited tail wags when you walk through the door say it all. 🐶❤️🐾

🐾❤️ PLEASE HELP US FIND A LOVING HOME FOR TWO VERY SPECIAL KITTIES ❤️🐾

It’s hard to believe that a year ago today we lost dear, sweet Lola. Lola was the beloved mom of Foxy and Oscar, and since her passing, her daughter Kathy has lovingly cared for them. Now, due to circumstances, she needs to find these two sweethearts a wonderful new home - and we would really love to keep this brother-and-sister pair together.

I’ve personally pet sat for Foxy and Oscar several times, so I can tell you firsthand: these are absolutely delightful cats. ❤️ They’re happy, curious, entertaining, easy to care for, and simply a joy to hang out with.

Foxy and Oscar are 7 years old, healthy, and have recently had complete health checkups and dental work.

They’ve already experienced the heartbreaking loss of their momma. What we’d love now is to find them a safe, loving forever home where they can stay together and be someone’s cherished companions. 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛❤️

If you’re a cat lover with room in your home and heart for these two - or if you know someone who might be the perfect fit - please share this post. Sometimes it just takes one share to reach the right person.

Please contact Kathy at 206-999-4232.
Let’s help these babies find the loving home they deserve. ❤️🏡🐾

🐾 This collaboration is so close to my heart... ❤️

As many of you know, I'm incredibly passionate about helping people care for the pets they love - whether that means caring for them while you're away, teaching Pet CPR & First Aid, or simply celebrating the special bond we share with our furry family members.

That's why I'm so excited to be partnering with our friends at Silver State Lampworking for this beautiful Forever Fur Baby Workshop!🐶🐱🐰

Whether your beloved companion is still happily by your side or forever in your heart, you'll create a one-of-a-kind resin keepsake to honor them. You'll even receive a gorgeous handblown glass paw pendant to take home. ❤️

I'll be there during each workshop representing Critter Sitter, chatting with fellow animal lovers, answering questions about pet sitting and Pet CPR & First Aid, and of course meeting lots of wonderful people (and hearing all about your amazing pets!).

🐾 Workshop Dates:
📅 August 15 – 3:00 PM
📅 August 21 – 5:00 PM
📅 August 29 – 1:00 PM

✨ Even better: For every attendee, $5 from each registration will be donated to the Boulder City Animal Shelter's Food Supply.

It's so wonderful when local small businesses come together to create something meaningful for our community, and this event is exactly that.

A HUGE thank you to Shane and Alli for inviting Boulder City Critter Sitter to be a part of this special event! 🐾
